Jen Gustavson, Founder & Content Director
Jen is a creative director, copywriter, content strategist, brand marketer, editorial manager, and journalist with experience across traditional newspapers, e-commerce, creative agencies, and technology. She’s won awards. She’s written snappy ad campaigns. She’s built content marketing programs from the ground up.
And she’s done this all for some of the biggest brands in the biz.
The team behind the words
ASH SANDERS is a copywriter, journalist and audio producer. She loves working on big picture brand development and ideation and loves to spice up boring copy. Her audio work has appeared on Stitcher and her writing has appeared in Rolling Stone, The Believer, NPR's The Salt, and Dark Mountain.
JIM PATRICK’s diverse communications career spans everything from writing about Super Bowls to preparing news releases for the governor of California. Years of experience in news media gave him a penchant for punchy copy, but he's as comfortable writing about the latest Silicon Valley startup as creating a list of the greatest US Olympic boxers of all time. He enjoys hiking, downhill skiing and not using the Oxford comma in sentences with three or more items in a list (except when clients like it - then he’s a fan).
Fun fact: Jim also hired Etcetera’s founder for her first-ever writing job at The Salt Lake Tribune.
